A Fuel Surcharge may be applied to price authorities governed by the Conditions of Carriage No. 1-Series. As outlined in Rule 280 of the Conditions of Carriage No. 1-Series, the surcharge for the upcoming month will be determined on the first day of the preceding month. This determination will be based on the U.S. average price of Retail On-Highway Diesel Fuel (HDF) from two months prior.
